A Rivanna River Walk: Conservation and Connectivity

October 6 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Free

Join us for a river walk and social for local leaders to explore enhanced connectivity and river restoration along the Rivanna River.

This event kicks off at the Rivanna River Company for a shuttle to Riverview Park, where leaders in conservation and connectivity will guide a walk along the Rivanna Trail. As you walk you will learn about conservation efforts, and planned and future parks, greenways, and trail enhancements that will expand access and increase connectivity. Enjoy a refreshing ice cream treat at the Rivanna River Company after the walk for networking and a debrief.

This hike is taking place in conjunction with the annual Loop de Ville Trailfest, a full day of guided hikes, walks, runs, and bike rides along the Rivanna Trail. Attendees are encouraged to stay for the fun — and free — Loop de Ville afterparty and concert!
