Committees

The Executive Committee consists of the Commission Chair and Vice-chair and three other Commissioners such that a total of three are elected officials and so that all four jurisdictions are represented on the Committee. The Chair of the Commission is also the Chair of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee meets as needed between the quarterly Commission meetings.

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) of the RRBC provides technical input and guidance to the Commission. The RRBC TAC consists of staff members from the member jurisdictions, District Managers from Thomas Jefferson and Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation Districts, and professionals from local and regional universities, non-profits, and agencies with expertise in fluvial processes, hydrology, water quality, natural resources, geomorphology, water resource modeling, and stormwater management. TAC members are appointed by the Commission and serve two-year terms that may be renewed.
